Communities were trained in maintenance of village level and household level sanitary aspects provided drainage system in 5 villages with the support of Government departments to clean the waste water to prevent stagnation at different parts and corners in the villages which create un hygienic conditions. Inculcating the habit of garbage management systems by introducing the household level preparation of organic manure with the kitchen waste and encouraging the kitchen gardens.
Organized awareness programmes for the identified beneficiaries on the maintenance and the importance of having toilets and how to maintain the toilets. Constructed 900 individual toilets in 9 mandal’s in Krishna District under swatch Bharat programme.
