SOCIETY FOR NATIONAL INTEGRATION THROUGH EDUCATION AND HUMANIZING ACTION (SNEHA)

SNEHA was formed in the year 1990 by a group of committed and professional social workers along with few like-minded individuals who are having good experience in implementing various development activities. The main goal of SNEHA is to address poverty, all kinds of discrimination and exploitation.
SNEHA believes participatory approach and involves communities in all aspects from planning to evaluation stage conducted need-based surveys in its operational area. Organized people and facilitated the implementation of government programmes in the operational area.
SNEHA conducted follow up studies on various government activities.
SNEHA was selected as a member of the District Development Committee.
SNEHA is an active partner in state-level networks such as Dalit Voluntary Action Forum, Andhra Pradesh Child Rights Advocacy Forum and A.P. Alliance for Child Rights.
SNEHA is acting as the nodal agency for the Gudivada division in organising various pieces of training for women groups C.Vs, VDOs, teachers etc.,
SNEHA got the best NGO award from the District Collector for its outstanding performance in Development Activities.

Sensitize people about the socio-economic inequalities in the society.
Ensure participation of all people in the process of establishing a society with values of justice, equality, peace and a society which is free from hunger, sickness, poverty, ignorance, illiteracy and other anomalies.
Serve the most vulnerable sections of the society like children, women, sick, persons with disabilities, senior citizens.
Create awareness on sustainable environment and make them adopt environmentally sustainable lifestyles.
Empower marginalized and oppressed people to acquire skills, resources and live with respect and dignity.
